Senior Digital Learning Experience Designer

• Join Spotify’s Learning & Inclusion team as a Senior Digital Learning Experience Designer, based in London. • Create learning experiences that help every Spotify band member grow, belong and do their best work. • Combine instructional design, visual design and storytelling to build inclusive learning at scale. • Work on company-wide initiatives, from leadership development to programmes that bring Spotify’s values to life. • Explore AI-assisted authoring and adaptive learning to improve the learner experience. • Enjoy flexible hybrid working, with some in-person meetings.

• Bring 5+ years of professional instructional design experience. • Share a portfolio showing thoughtful work across multiple learning formats. • Apply learning science such as cognitive load, retrieval practice, spaced learning and adult learning theory. • Turn performance needs into measurable objectives and learning journeys. • Design active practice through scenarios, simulations and assessments. • Bring strong visual and UX design judgement, including typography, hierarchy and layout. • Use authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate or Lectora. • Use design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. • Write clear storyboards, scripts and facilitator guides. • Hold a degree in instructional design, learning sciences, education or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Bring experience in inclusive learning design. • Show experience designing leadership development programmes. • Bring experience creating short-form learning videos or animation. • Know LMS or LXP platforms. • Understand SCORM or xAPI standards.

• Lead end-to-end learning design, from needs analysis and curriculum architecture to launch and evaluation. • Turn performance needs from experts and stakeholders into clear objectives and practical solutions. • Design learning journeys across live, digital, blended and self-directed formats. • Create eLearning, facilitator guides, job aids, presentations and micro-learning. • Use visual design and storytelling to make complex ideas clear and memorable. • Build interactive experiences with AI-assisted workflows and tools such as Storyline or Rise. • Design inclusive experiences that reduce barriers to participation. • Pilot and iterate using learner feedback and performance data. • Measure learning effectiveness, knowledge transfer and behaviour change. • Manage multiple projects from scoping to delivery.
