💼 What you will do

• Join Atlassian as a Senior Employee Relations Partner, working remotely from the UK. • Provide expert support on complex, high-risk and sensitive ER matters across EMEA. • Manage relationships with multiple Works Councils and lead end-to-end consultations. • Partner with EMEA HRBPs, Employment Legal and functional leaders to deliver consistent outcomes. • Support the Global Employee Relations team on initiatives and global cases. • Choose where you work, whether from home, an office or a mix of both.

📋 Job Requirements

• Bring extensive EMEA employee relations experience managing complex, sensitive matters across multiple countries. • Show a proven track record managing multiple Works Councils and leading consultations. • Bring experience developing and implementing ER practices and guidelines that ensure legal compliance. • Have strong knowledge of employment law and country-specific consultation requirements across EMEA. • Build trusted partnerships with HRBPs, employment legal, business leaders and employee representatives. • Deliver clear, pragmatic recommendations. • Bring experience mentoring and supporting team members. • Be based in the UK.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Speak a second EMEA language such as German, French or Dutch. • Bring experience with ER in a fast-growing technology company. • Show experience using data and reporting tools to spot ER trends. • Bring experience designing and delivering manager training programmes. • Hold a professional HR qualification such as CIPD.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Lead Works Council engagement across EMEA, from planning and facilitation to Q&A and follow-through. • Assess the consultation implications of regional and enterprise changes, including legal risk and communications. • Manage complex ER casework, investigations and operational escalations. • Advise leaders and HRBPs on performance management, grievances and disciplinary action. • Maintain clear intake, governance and operating processes for ER and Works Council matters. • Support global ER initiatives and cases. • Deliver manager training on performance management, difficult conversations and labour law compliance. • Use data to identify ER trends and build preventative training and processes.
