💼 What you will do

• Join Reboot Online, an award-winning organic search agency, as its People Manager. • Take proper ownership of the people function, building on strong existing foundations. • Introduce new initiatives, evolve existing programmes, and shape the employee experience. • Work across career frameworks, manager capability, benefits, recruitment, and workplace award submissions. • Partner with managers and leadership to strengthen engagement, retention, and future leadership. • Grow towards a future Head of People role as the business scales. • Work fully remotely from anywhere in the UK on a four-day week with Fridays off.

📋 Job Requirements

• Bring experience in a People Manager, HR Manager, or similar role. • Bring experience building employee engagement and retention initiatives. • Enjoy helping managers develop and supporting people to perform at their best. • Handle employee relations matters confidently, with a strong understanding of UK employment law. • Bring experience designing and improving people processes across the employee lifecycle. • Work in an organised, proactive, and autonomous way. • Communicate confidently with people at all levels of a business. • Balance great people practices for both employees and the business. • Handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement. • Communicate and present excellently, with strong writing and organisational skills. • Think outside the box and multitask proactively. • Work proficiently in Microsoft Office and Excel. • Be based in the UK.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives that strengthen engagement, wellbeing, belonging, and retention. • Own team socials, away days, recognition programmes, and employee experience initiatives. • Gather employee feedback and turn insights into meaningful action. • Keep people policies aligned with Reboot’s culture, values, and tone of voice. • Support workplace award submissions and employer brand activity. • Own onboarding, probation, and performance review processes. • Support managers with performance conversations and development planning. • Evolve career pathways, progression frameworks, and role structures. • Coordinate manager training, leadership development, and succession planning. • Support workforce planning and hiring, improving recruitment processes and candidate experience. • Develop interview frameworks and help managers attract and assess talent. • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters and manage cases. • Maintain policies, documentation, and HR systems, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
