Credit Risk Manager, Portfolio Management

• Bring strong commercial and strategic experience leading credit for unsecured lending portfolios. • Show portfolio management experience across risk-based pricing, retention, product upgrades and loss mitigation. • Thrive in ambiguous, zero-to-one environments and build strategies from scratch. • Balance sharp credit instincts with a passion for good customer outcomes and conduct risk. • Manage stakeholders well, from engineering squads to legal, compliance and executives. • Show a proven track record of leading and developing analytical talent. • Write SQL confidently and drive a data-first culture. • Be based in the UK.

• Bring exposure to credit card lifecycle management. • Write Python. • Use Looker for analytics. • Bring experience scaling lending products into new markets.

• Build frameworks to monitor and forecast risk and revenue across the Flex portfolio. • Design and optimise a risk-based pricing programme that balances commercial and customer outcomes. • Create credit strategies for upgrades, engagement incentives and balance transfers. • Develop loss mitigation strategies, such as credit limit decreases, that protect vulnerable customers. • Manage, coach and grow a team of 3 credit analysts. • Act as the embedded credit expert within a squad of Product, Engineering, Design and Marketing. • Work with 2nd Line Credit Risk, Legal and Compliance. • Turn complex data into clear narratives for executive stakeholders.
