Data Center Transaction Principal, Europe

• Join Anthropic as Data Center Transaction Principal for Europe, based in London. • Drive commercial sourcing and transaction execution for European data centre capacity deals. • Lead RFP processes, negotiate term sheets and take deals from sourcing through to lease execution. • Coordinate legal, finance, engineering and network teams across multiple countries. • Build transaction processes from scratch alongside live execution. • Help secure the infrastructure that powers Anthropic’s frontier AI systems across Europe.

• Bring 10+ years in transaction management, commercial real estate, data centre leasing or infrastructure procurement. • Show a track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder transactions from sourcing to execution. • Negotiate and structure term sheets, LOIs and commercial agreements. • Bring experience running RFPs and competitive sourcing for large infrastructure or real estate deals. • Know the European data centre landscape, including FLAP-D hubs and emerging markets such as the Nordics and Southern Europe. • Work comfortably across countries with different legal frameworks, languages and business cultures. • Coordinate legal, technical, finance and operations teams at the same time. • Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where processes are still being built. • Hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education, training and experience.

• Bring experience with data centre or hyperscale infrastructure transactions. • Come from the development side and understand yield-on-cost, cap rates and development fees. • Understand AI/ML technical requirements such as power density, cooling and network connectivity. • Know European power procurement, grid connection queues and renewable PPAs. • Understand data sovereignty rules that affect European site selection. • Bring relationships across the European data centre developer, operator and broker ecosystem. • Show a background in corporate development, strategic partnerships or infrastructure investment.

• Lead RFPs and commercial sourcing for European data centre deals across multiple markets. • Negotiate term sheets and manage the LOI process with developers. • Take deals from LOI to executed transaction, meeting all commercial, technical and legal requirements. • Coordinate due diligence, legal counsel, network, engineering and finance teams before lease execution. • Keep networks, deployments and government relations teams updated on deal progress. • Maintain transaction timelines and flag risks to deal closure early. • Translate technical and operational needs into contractual terms. • Take developments to a construction-ready state, directly or through a developer. • Navigate country-specific permitting, grid connection and regulatory requirements. • Build transaction playbooks and feed deal learnings into Europe market strategy.
