Risk Change Manager – Ops Resilience & Third Party Risk

• Join Zopa, the UK digital bank that built the world’s first peer-to-peer lending company, in a permanent hybrid role in London. • Make Zopa’s Operational Resilience and Third-Party Risk frameworks simpler, smarter and easier for the business to use. • Take well-established frameworks to the next level by reducing friction and strengthening ownership. • Turn complex requirements into clear, intuitive processes in a hands-on role. • Work with Procurement, Supplier Relationship Managers and experts across Information Security, Data Privacy, Financial Crime, Compliance and Legal. • Help make risk management a competitive advantage rather than a blocker.

• Simplify complex frameworks, processes or governance into practical ways of working that people actually use. • Bring strong judgement and a process design mindset. • Apply requirements proportionately in a fast-paced, regulated environment. • Learn new regulatory requirements, risk domains and technical subject matter quickly. • Translate those requirements into effective business processes. • Bring experience in Operational Resilience and Third-Party Risk Management from a regulatory, technology or operations background. • Use data and technology confidently to support decision-making. • Balance risk management with commercial goals. • Commute to the London office 2–3 days a week.

• Bring experience working alongside Information Security, Data Privacy, Financial Crime, Compliance or Legal specialists. • Show experience with Operational Resilience Self-Assessments, Important Business Services and impact tolerances. • Bring experience managing supplier BCP and exit planning for higher-risk third parties. • Show a track record of reducing assessment times or speeding up approvals through process redesign.

• Own and improve Zopa’s first-line frameworks for Operational Resilience and Third-Party Risk Management. • Create clearer guidance, better templates, smoother workflows and stronger governance. • Reduce assessment time, improve the quality of risk information and speed up approvals. • Clarify risk ownership and give senior leaders better visibility of material risks. • Own Zopa’s Operational Resilience Self-Assessment, Important Business Services and impact tolerances. • Manage resilience dependencies, vulnerabilities and testing. • Oversee the material third-party register and embed risk requirements into supplier processes. • Support ongoing monitoring, BCP and exit planning for higher-risk suppliers.
