Collections Strategy Analyst

• Join Zilch’s Risk team as a Collections Strategy Analyst, working hybrid from London with Tuesdays and Fridays remote. • Help shape how Zilch manages customers in arrears and improves recovery outcomes. • Balance collections performance with fair, effective customer treatment. • Turn data insight into practical recommendations across the full collections journey. • Report to the Senior Manager, Collections Strategy. • Build your collections strategy skills at a fast-growing fintech.

• Bring strong analytical skills and confidence working with data. • Show exposure to collections, arrears management, recoveries or credit risk analytics. • Write good SQL to query, manipulate and summarise data. • Show experience or genuine interest in collections, credit risk, fintech or lending. • Interpret analysis, spot opportunities and explain findings clearly. • Pay strong attention to detail with performance data and target tracking. • Work comfortably with stakeholders across teams. • Understand fair customer outcomes and regulatory expectations in collections.

• Bring experience with Looker or a similar BI tool. • Understand BNPL, consumer credit, lending or payments. • Show exposure to segmentation, customer treatment, operational analysis or contact strategy. • Bring experience analysing DCA or Debt Purchaser performance.

• Build an understanding of the full collections lifecycle, from early arrears to recoveries. • Use data to find improvements in strategy, customer treatment, segmentation and recovery. • Develop practical recommendations with guidance from senior colleagues. • Monitor metrics such as roll rates, cure rates, liquidation, recoveries and placements. • Use SQL to extract and analyse data for insight and decisions. • Support segmentation and allocation analysis across delinquency stages, DCAs and Debt Purchasers. • Investigate performance movements and track the impact of strategy changes. • Work with Collections, Credit Risk, Operations and Data on next steps.
