Payments Fraud Investigator

• Bring 3+ years of experience conducting complex investigations. • Show 1+ years of experience leading risk-related projects with cross-functional stakeholders. • Use data to propose solutions to tactical and strategic challenges. • Challenge the status quo and advocate for process improvements. • Balance a user-centric perspective with a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset. • Communicate excellently in writing and speech. • Travel to vendor locations for up to 10% of the year. • Join an on-call rotation that may include weekend coverage.

• Bring experience mitigating card-not-present fraud in payments, e-commerce, social media or fintech. • Show experience investigating card testing and account takeover attacks. • Bring experience designing fraud workflows, analyst tooling and procedures. • Use SQL confidently to analyse data and build dashboards.

• Analyse high-risk accounts for fraudulent merchants, card testing, account takeover and other fraud. • Lead root cause analyses to close gaps in systems, policies and strategies. • Drive projects that improve tools and processes across the global analyst network. • Investigate and remediate urgent incidents such as card testing and account takeover. • Summarise complex investigations for executives and give clear case determinations. • Run analyst training sessions at vendor locations.
