Senior Fraud Strategy Manager

• Join Zilch as Senior Fraud Strategy Manager, working hybrid from London with Tuesdays and Fridays remote. • Own the overall fraud strategy across both application fraud and in-life fraud. • Lead a highly visible area of risk that directly drives commercial performance. • Protect the business while keeping customer journeys smooth for genuine customers. • Work across Risk, Fraud Operations, Product, Engineering, Data and Compliance. • Design strategies that deliver KYC, PEP and sanctions controls efficiently.

• Bring strong experience in fraud strategy, fraud risk, financial crime or customer risk, ideally in fintech, payments, banking or lending. • Understand application fraud and in-life fraud risks and controls. • Show experience designing or optimising fraud rules, decisioning strategies or controls. • Turn data into clear decisions and practical action. • Bring experience delivering fraud prevention initiatives with operational and technical teams. • Understand KYC, PEP, sanctions and financial crime control frameworks. • Balance risk prevention with customer experience and commercial outcomes. • Explain complex issues clearly and influence stakeholders.

• Bring experience in buy now, pay later or consumer credit. • Show experience building automated fraud controls with engineering teams. • Bring experience reporting fraud as a P&L item to senior leadership. • Show experience improving manual review processes in fraud operations.

• Own and evolve fraud strategy across application and in-life fraud. • Design, optimise and monitor fraud controls across the customer lifecycle. • Analyse fraud trends, customer behaviour and operational outcomes to set priorities. • Partner with Fraud Operations on typologies, pain points and manual review outcomes. • Build decisioning rules and automated controls with Product, Engineering and Data. • Reduce unnecessary friction for genuine customers. • Own the strategy design for KYC, PEP and sanctions screening controls. • Maintain strong documentation and governance across fraud and financial crime strategies.
