Lead System Accountant

• Join Typeform’s Controlling team in a fully remote role open to candidates in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Portugal, Spain, or the Netherlands. • Drive the reliability and efficiency of Typeform’s financial systems as Lead Systems Accountant. • Manage the finance systems suite, ensuring seamless data flow between subscriptions, tax platforms, payment gateways, NetSuite, and Pigment. • Maintain accurate and timely financial data that underpins informed business decision-making. • Work across accounting, treasury, compliance, and tax, with a focus on systems and the financial flows they produce. • Join a growing, multinational team of 7 within a 13-person Finance function covering FP&A, Finance Operations, Controlling, and Legal. • Work alongside colleagues who bring energy, humour, and empathy to support each other’s success and wellbeing.

• Bring proven experience in a systems role within a Finance function. • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills. • Meet tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities. • Stay customer-focused with a flexible approach. • Work in a self-motivated way with a can-do mindset. • Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. • Be based in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Portugal, Spain, or the Netherlands.

• Bring hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Chargebee. • Bring a background in SaaS or subscription-based businesses. • Bring knowledge of Spanish tax and regulatory environments.

• Own the finance systems landscape, from Chargebee and tax platforms such as Avalara through payment gateways to NetSuite and the planning system. • Own the API interfaces and integration tooling (Workato) that ensure complete and accurate data transfer between systems. • Review audit logs daily across finance systems and ensure effective logical access controls are in place. • Review and maintain all financial systems policies and procedures. • Collaborate with IT and finance colleagues to meet business requirements. • Troubleshoot and fix finance-related system issues. • Train and support finance team members in using financial systems and procedures.
