Senior FP&A Analyst

• Join 9fin, the AI platform powering global debt markets, in a full-time hybrid role in London. • Own the planning, reporting and business partnering that keeps leadership informed. • Work alongside the Senior Strategic Finance & FP&A Manager at the intersection of finance, commercial and operational teams. • Form views, tell the story behind the data and challenge assumptions rather than processing numbers in the background. • Use AI and automation as a core part of the role, not an optional extra. • Shape how the FP&A function plans, reports and partners as it is still being built.

• Bring a strong foundation in FP&A, ideally from a SaaS or high-growth technology business. • Work in an AI-native way, using AI tools daily to sharpen analysis and automate routine tasks. • Speak fluently about SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, churn, cohort economics and unit economics. • Build clean, well-structured models that the people they are built for actually use. • Write crisp variance commentary and build accessible dashboards. • Present confidently to senior audiences, including the CEO. • Build relationships with commercial and operational stakeholders as a natural business partner. • Work comfortably in ambiguity and deliver to deadlines without constant direction. • Communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance colleagues. • Commute to the London office on a hybrid basis.

• Bring experience with dedicated FP&A and forecasting platforms, ideally having evaluated or worked within one. • Show exposure to investor relations or fundraising processes. • Bring familiarity with the financial narrative that supports fundraising. • Show experience building automation across a finance function.

• Support the annual budget and rolling forecast processes, stress-testing assumptions across the business. • Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, headcount modelling and long-range forecasting. • Translate financial plans into actionable targets owned beyond the finance function. • Improve forecast accuracy by refining methodologies and feeding in actuals analysis. • Own the headcount and financial model, and lead report creation for the executive leadership team. • Produce variance commentary explaining what happened, why, and what it means. • Design and maintain KPI dashboards giving leadership real-time visibility. • Track and report SaaS metrics, keeping finance and commercial reporting aligned. • Support hiring decisions and headcount planning with clear financial analysis. • Use AI tools to accelerate reconciliations, automate recurring analyses and clean data. • Work with the Finance Systems Lead to embed automation from data ingestion to report generation. • Support board and investor reporting cycles with modelling, narrative and presentations.
