Director, Finance Transformation

• Join KAYAK, the world’s leading travel search engine and part of Booking Holdings, in a full-time hybrid role in London. • Set the strategic direction for KAYAK’s global finance systems. • Lead multiple product areas so prioritisation, governance and delivery drive measurable value at scale. • Drive the Finance department’s AI roadmap and strategy. • Focus on outcomes such as faster financial closes, less manual effort and stronger controls. • Report to the VP of Enterprise Systems and lead a team of analysts, product managers and solution engineers. • Work from the London office 3 days a week.

• Bring 10+ years of experience in finance systems, enterprise technology or a related field. • Show a track record of delivering complex systems at scale. • Bring hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP. • Understand O2C, P2P and R2R processes. • Show experience leading cross-functional transformation projects such as ERP migrations or payment system implementations. • Bring experience implementing AI-driven or automation-first solutions in a finance or enterprise context. • Build strong relationships across teams and navigate complex organisations. • Present structured recommendations to senior leadership clearly, in writing and in person. • Anticipate risks proactively rather than waiting for problems to surface. • Hold a degree in Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Commute to the London office 3 days a week.

• Bring experience with tools such as BlackLine and FloQast. • Show experience balancing system agility with SOX requirements. • Bring experience partnering with Data Engineering on financial data foundations. • Show experience building and developing finance systems teams.

• Set the direction for global finance systems so technology investments support a scalable, well-governed architecture. • Act as the primary authority for the NetSuite ERP ecosystem and standardise workflows across related tools. • Own the multi-year Finance Systems roadmap, shortening close cycles and improving data integrity. • Oversee governance for NetSuite configurations, customisations and upgrades alongside SOX requirements. • Define integration architecture so transaction, billing and reporting systems exchange reliable data. • Lead the finance AI and automation roadmap across forecasting, variance analysis, close coordination and workforce planning. • Partner with Data Engineering to build a trusted data foundation before applying AI. • Maintain an AI use-case registry governing automations from discovery to retirement. • Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team with clear career paths. • Turn transformation goals into phased delivery plans and manage capital and operating budgets. • Build data-backed business cases and present recommendations to the CFO, CAO and corporate controllers. • Represent Finance Systems in architecture forums and run demos, showcases and automation hackathons.
