Associate Investigator

• Join Tripadvisor, the travel group behind Tripadvisor, Viator and TheFork, in a London-based hybrid role. • Work within the Fraud team to protect the credibility of more than a billion published reviews. • Handle customer support, detect and block fraudulent content, and investigate content integrity cases. • Act as the operational link between onshore leadership and offshore delivery teams. • Educate users and property owners on Tripadvisor’s guidelines. • Grow into deeper fraud investigation work as your skills and interests develop.

• Bring 2+ years of professional experience in direct support, fraud, Trust & Safety or content moderation. • Bring a passion for customer support, fraud detection and quality assurance. • Pay close attention to detail while managing your time and multitasking. • Apply sound judgement to resolve complex escalations based on business impact. • Communicate strongly across a global team, especially with offshore delivery teams. • Show proven experience creating training documentation and maintaining knowledge bases. • Perform quality audits and use feedback, QA scores and metrics to improve performance. • Bring fluency in English.

• Bring experience with SQL, Tableau, Jira or Confluence. • Speak multiple languages fluently. • Show experience with digital forensics or open-source intelligence (OSINT). • Bring experience preparing cases for a legal team.

• Investigate potential guideline violations and manage the lifecycle of complex user requests. • Resolve high-profile escalations that offshore agents cannot handle. • Partner with the CMI fraud team and educate property owners on moderation policies. • Perform quality audits and take part in calibration calls. • Help develop training materials to keep global accuracy and guideline compliance high. • Use digital forensics and OSINT to detect, prevent and remove fraudulent or biased high-risk content. • Track key metrics and identify content trends using SQL and data analysis. • Prepare cases for Legal and propose policy updates that strengthen fraud detection.
