Support Engineer (Weekends)

• Join Supabase, the Postgres development platform built by developers for developers, in a full-time fully remote role. • Provide world-class developer support to anyone hitting issues or seeking guidance with Supabase. • Join a globally distributed support team focused on minimising time to fix. • Work closely with the product engineering and growth teams. • Handle everything from billing and pre-sales questions to optimisation and implementation issues. • Work four 10-hour shifts covering Friday to Monday, 08:00–18:00 UTC.

• Bring 3+ years of experience providing developer support to technical customers. • Write complex SQL comfortably, ideally in PostgreSQL. • Communicate excellently with fluency in English. • Use Linux or Unix operating systems and the command line confidently. • Bring experience working with GitHub Issues and Discussions. • Work four 10-hour shifts from Friday to Monday, permanently covering weekends. • Be based in a European, African or Middle Eastern time zone.

• Bring database administration experience. • Show familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue or Svelte. • Bring some experience with Node.js. • Hold a degree in Computer Science. • Show experience reproducing issues, writing test cases and improving test coverage.

• Give initial and timely responses to support cases across billing, pre-sales, optimisation and implementation topics. • Triage cases by directing users to previous answers, code examples or documentation. • Escalate cases to the right technical or business team members. • Monitor multiple feedback channels, including GitHub Issues and Discussions. • Identify where internal tooling could improve support efficiency. • Reproduce issues, create test cases and improve test coverage.
