Staff Product Designer, Generative Media

• Join Synthesia as a Staff Product Designer leading design for its AI Playground. • Shape a generative-media workspace where users create video clips, images and motion graphics with leading AI models. • Evolve Playground from a single-format surface into a multi-format creation hub. • Design the handoff that turns AI experiments into polished Synthesia Studio videos. • Set direction and influence roadmap decisions as a senior individual contributor. • Work hybrid from London, or remotely from Europe.

• Bring significant experience designing creation tools or generative-media platforms. • Show strong craft in interaction and visual design across complex workflows. • Design confidently around AI model constraints. • Think in systems, balancing Playground as a destination and an on-ramp to Studio. • Bring experience designing multi-format products that scale beyond a focused surface. • Communicate clearly in design reviews and cross-functional trade-offs. • Show a track record of turning early-stage generative-media bets into scalable platforms. • Use user and customer feedback to meet the needs of SMBs through to enterprise teams.

• Bring experience designing prompt-based interfaces. • Show experience with video, image or motion graphics tools. • Bring experience designing templates or app marketplaces. • Show experience prototyping with AI-assisted design tools.

• Own Playground’s evolution into a scalable multi-format creation hub. • Set design direction for discovery, experimentation and iteration across all formats. • Keep adjacent areas such as Studio and Media Library coherent. • Define design principles, quality bars and metrics with Product and Engineering. • Prototype and test interaction models quickly, choosing the right level of fidelity. • Raise the bar on prompt UX, format balance and iteration workflows.
