About the role

💼 What you will do

• Own the end-to-end roadmap for content lifecycle, governance, and the operational layer that keeps enterprise deployments running at Synthesia. • Do the work that turns a proof of concept into a seven-figure renewal — workspace setup, compliance controls, analytics, and integrations. • Work at the intersection of enterprise customers, engineering, and commercial teams on deal-critical features. • Based from Synthesia's London office or remote from Europe, with regular in-person collaboration.

📋 Job Requirements

• Have significant experience owning a critical product domain — setting strategy, not just executing it. • Demonstrate a track record of connecting product outcomes to commercial results: ARR, retention, expansion, or equivalent. • Be comfortable working across a broad surface area, prioritising ruthlessly and making the case for what gets built next. • Communicate strongly in writing — PRDs, strategy docs, and customer insight summaries that others can act on without a follow-up. • Ramp quickly onto the complexity of enterprise buying motions, staying close to the commercial team on complex deals. • Be based in London or open to regular travel; the team is London-anchored and in-person time matters.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Have prior experience building governance, compliance, or admin tooling for enterprise SaaS platforms. • Bring experience working directly with CISOs, IT admins, legal teams, and programme managers on platform governance requirements. • Have hands-on experience with enterprise content lifecycle management or digital asset management products. • Bring familiarity with AI video or content creation platforms and their enterprise deployment patterns. • Have experience defining and tracking operational metrics such as admin tooling adoption, compliance feature usage, and support escalation reduction.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end roadmap for content lifecycle, governance, and the operational layer that keeps enterprise deployments running — from workspace setup through compliance controls. • Get close to enterprise customers, understanding how IT admins, legal teams, programme managers, and content owners think about governance and what "in control" looks like at scale. • Translate customer understanding into clear product direction — what to build, in what order, and why — keeping engineering and design aligned as the strategy evolves. • Work closely with the engineering manager and designer in the team, writing clear specs, making good trade-off calls, and providing context that helps engineers build the right thing first time. • Partner with Solutions, CS, and Legal on complex enterprise deals where features are frequently deal-critical. • Define the metrics that tell whether this layer is working: adoption of admin tooling, compliance feature usage, and reduction in support escalations related to governance gaps.
