Lead Software Engineer (Java) - SSO

• Join the SSO team providing secure, reliable, and scalable authentication for users and services across the Revolut ecosystem. • Keep frameworks lean with a focus on clean, maintainable code shipped fast using TDD, DDD, and continuous integration and delivery. • Work with a stack including Java 17/21, GCP, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, NewRelic, PostgreSQL, Redis, Spock, jOOQ, and Flyway.

• Be fluent with Java. • Have 6+ years of experience in backend development. • Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, maths, physics, or a similar field. • Be a quick learner with an ambitious attitude and results-driven personality. • Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Have excellent communication and organisational skills. • Be fluent in English.

• Have experience with Kotlin or Scala. • Bring experience in finance. • Have worked in a startup or scale-up environment. • Bring experience in a product-focused environment.

• Develop microservices to evolve the architecture. • Perfect systems the business depends on, such as risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing. • Focus on greenfield development and improvement of existing systems.
