💼 What you will do

• Support the design and implementation of Revolut’s risk management framework. • Take a global approach that factors in business strategy, board-level risk appetite, and governance structure. • Join a Risk function that operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and keep the business operating safely. • Get involved early in new initiatives, from tech through to customer support. • Build risk awareness across the business through materials, sessions, and onboarding content. • Develop and maintain the risk tools and systems the function runs on. • Work remotely from the UK, or from the London office.

📋 Job Requirements

• Bring 8+ years of experience in risk management within financial services. • Hold a degree or certification in risk management. • Bring previous examples of practically interpreting and organising complex data. • Never accept assumptions, and want to fully understand how things work. • Work with an organised, methodological approach and impeccable attention to detail. • Bring solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Bring experience in operational or enterprise risk management at a bank or financial institution. • Bring experience running a risk incident management process end to end. • Bring experience reporting to senior management and regulators. • Bring experience designing key risk indicators and risk appetite statements from scratch. • Bring experience running a new initiatives approval process with SME and governance engagement.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Facilitate risk awareness across the business, organising materials and sessions and developing content for new employees. • Develop and implement risk policies, procedures, key risk indicators, and risk appetite statements. • Monitor risks against limits and thresholds, producing reports for management and other stakeholders. • Implement the risk incident management process, registering risk events and delivering incident reports to senior management and regulators. • Provide guidance on identifying and assessing inherent, net, and residual risks alongside the internal controls that address them. • Monitor KRI breaches and partner with risk owners to resolve them within set timelines. • Work on the new initiatives approval process, securing appropriate local SME engagement and governance. • Develop and maintain risk tools and systems.
