Senior FP&A Analyst

• Join Paddle, the Merchant of Record that removes payment fragmentation for digital product companies, in a full-time remote role. • Join an FP&A team at an inflection point, scaling its impact across the business. • Report to the Director of FP&A and act as the interface between finance and the business. • Turn Paddle’s complex transaction-based model into clear strategic recommendations. • Partner with senior leaders on resource allocation, commercial strategy and investment decisions. • Help shape the next evolution of FP&A capability at Paddle.

• Connect financial data to business outcomes and influence commercial strategy, not just report on it. • Bring established stakeholder management skills as an exceptional business partner. • Translate complex financial concepts into simple, compelling narratives for non-finance audiences. • Show technical strength in financial modelling, forecasting and scenario planning. • Bring experience with SaaS, payments or transaction-based business models. • Work comfortably with complexity, ambiguity and evolving tooling in a fast-paced scale-up. • Enjoy mentoring others and building capability across the team. • Balance detail and accuracy with confident presentation to C-level stakeholders. • Deliver consistently to a very high standard. • Be based in the UK, Ireland or Toronto.

• Bring experience with metrics such as GMV, take rate, CAC, LTV, NRR and churn. • Show experience with planning tools such as Pigment. • Bring experience supporting board-level reporting. • Show experience developing business cases for pricing strategy or market expansion.

• Build financial partnerships with stakeholders across go-to-market and operations. • Turn insights from key metrics into recommendations that influence business direction. • Flag important risks and opportunities to finance and business leadership. • Support business cases for pricing strategy, market and product expansion and new launches. • Support board-level reporting and strategic narratives with the Director of FP&A and VP of Finance. • Evolve planning models so financial targets connect to operational execution. • Build management reporting and dashboards that are timely and decision-oriented. • Develop deep expertise in the transaction-based revenue model across segments, geographies and products. • Find opportunities to optimise unit economics and improve capital efficiency. • Bring fresh thinking to the KPI framework and represent FP&A in cross-functional projects.
