Senior AI Engineer (GTM)

• Join Paddle, the Merchant of Record that removes payment fragmentation for digital product companies, in a full-time remote role. • Work in the Data & AI team alongside the Go-To-Market organisation. • Solve high-value problems with Marketing, Sales and RevOps in a builder’s role, end to end. • Move from an ambiguous business challenge to a technical design, prototype and production system. • Build systems that segment accounts, automate sales workflows and surface buying signals. • Own the full lifecycle of what you build, including evaluation, observability, reliability and cost.

• Bring strong software engineering experience, taking problems from technical design through to production independently. • Work confidently in Python and SQL. • Show hands-on experience building applications with large language models, APIs, retrieval systems or agents. • Understand how to evaluate and operate AI systems in production. • Manage hallucination risk, latency, reliability, context limits and variable model costs. • Work comfortably with structured and unstructured data, and build integrations across sources. • Take an interest in commercial concepts such as ICP, segmentation, pipeline and buyer intent. • Work directly with the people who use what you build. • Balance speed, quality and long-term maintainability amid ambiguity. • Be based in the UK or Toronto.

• Bring direct experience working with go-to-market teams. • Show experience building agentic workflows in production. • Bring experience optimising model cost through routing, caching and token management. • Show experience integrating with CRM systems.

• Design and build AI systems for account segmentation, enrichment, scoring, prioritisation and buying-signal detection. • Develop and deploy agentic workflows for account research, outbound personalisation, call summarisation and CRM hygiene. • Write production-quality code and build the integrations, pipelines and services behind each solution. • Optimise for quality, latency and cost through evaluation, prompt design, model selection, routing and caching. • Establish practical patterns for building AI systems at Paddle. • Set up monitoring, guardrails, documentation and clear measures of business impact.
