• Bring experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, SRE, or in a DevOps or platform engineering role. • Show that you have run production Kubernetes, authored Helm charts and tuned autoscaling under real traffic. • Know AWS and Terraform well, defaulting to readable, adaptable modules. • Bring experience operating production CI/CD and GitOps, including a rollback path you trust. • Show that you have carried the pager, run an incident and written the follow-up. • Bring experience building internal developer tooling such as CLIs, dev environments or per-PR environments. • Thrive in remote, async environments and communicate with generous context. • Use modern AI tools fluently to debug, document and reduce toil. • Make pragmatic build-versus-buy calls and weigh what things cost to run. • Have a personal stake in making and publishing things of your own. • Take part in a distributed on-call rotation, roughly a week once a quarter. • Overlap at least 4 hours with EMEA time zones, though candidates anywhere are considered.

• Be a Buffer user already, or know the social media management space. • Bring experience with Datadog, Sentry or a similar observability stack. • Design logs and metrics with cost in mind. • Bring prior Cloudflare experience across Workers, Zero Trust and DNS. • Show an open source Terraform module or tool you have contributed to.

• Own day-to-day reliability of the production platform across EKS, ArgoCD and AWS. • Tune autoscaling so the system adjusts well under load. • Implement Argo Rollouts with clean rollback paths so bad deploys revert in seconds. • Evolve the local development environment, per-PR staging deployments and CLI tooling as products. • Measure adoption of developer tools, talk to users and iterate. • Automate low-risk workflows end to end to reduce operational toil. • Drive lifecycle upgrades across Node.js, Python, Kubernetes, EKS, Helm and Terraform. • Own infrastructure-side security vulnerabilities. • Lead cost and visibility work across Datadog, AWS rightsizing and log filters. • Raise the documentation bar and help the team move toward shared ownership.
