Product Engineer

• Join Omnea's engineering team as a product-minded software engineer, hiring across all levels, building high-quality features and systems using the latest in AI both as a developer tool and embedded directly into the product. • Own meaningful problem spaces end-to-end with direct impact on customers as the engineering team doubles in size and revenue triples over the next year. • Work with a modern stack of TypeScript across the full stack, React, Postgres, and AWS serverless infrastructure with AI-native development using Claude Code and agentic workflows every day.

• Be experienced building web apps full-stack, having designed and implemented features from start to finish using TypeScript and ideally AWS serverless. • Be motivated by impact and care about what your work actually achieves for real customers, not just how it's built. • Know what exceptional looks like with the ability to build highly reliable, well-architected products using best-in-class tooling across AWS, IaC, and observability. • Move across the stack comfortably, think from first principles, pick up new skills quickly, and ship. • Be a team player excited by maximising team performance through learning from others, giving feedback, and levelling up those around you. • Be comfortable with ambiguity, tackling problems without predefined solutions and thriving with autonomy to make decisions.

• Have performed exceptionally at something outside of engineering whether in academics, sport, or other pursuits. • Contribute to open source or work on side projects because you genuinely enjoy engineering beyond your job. • Bring experience with Omnea's specific stack including React, Postgres, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and Pulumi. • Show familiarity with AI-native development workflows and agentic coding tools. • Have prior experience in enterprise B2B SaaS or procurement and finance systems. • Demonstrate experience with continuous delivery practices deploying multiple times per day.

• Build high-quality product features and systems using the latest in AI, owning projects from initial idea through design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration. • Help shape key product decisions including roadmap prioritisation, project scoping, technical direction, user experience, and implementation strategy. • Work across the full stack in TypeScript with React, Postgres, and AWS serverless infrastructure. • Use Claude Code and agentic workflows every day to write, review, and ship code faster. • Deploy small, incremental changes to production multiple times per day for rapid iteration and fast customer feedback loops. • Help scale systems, architecture, and engineering practices as the company grows while maintaining performance, reliability, and developer velocity. • Engage directly with customers to understand their problems, gather feedback, and ensure genuine value is being built.
