Solutions Director

• Join Nearform in a permanent, full-time remote role open to candidates based in the UK. • Craft and position solutions that help enterprise clients unlock value through AI, software, cloud, and data. • Work as a strategic, entrepreneurial leader at the intersection of business, technology, and AI innovation. • Lead discovery and pre-sales engagements, from proposals and RFP responses to pitches and proof-of-concepts. • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to develop and grow client relationships. • Help shape and expand Nearform’s AI practice by driving innovation and sharing best practices. • Work remotely with a flexible schedule that fits around life commitments such as the school run.

• Bring 12+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership. • Bring hands-on experience with solution architecture, software architecture, cloud platforms, and AI-native software engineering practices. • Run effective workshops that explore use cases, explain solution trade-offs, and align stakeholders on the best approach. • Hold working proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or JavaScript. • Bring hands-on Generative AI experience using foundation models in real-world applications, including RAG, agents, and evaluation suites. • Bring a strong understanding of AI, data pipelines, and cloud ecosystems such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Explain complex concepts clearly to less technical and non-technical audiences. • Demonstrate success engaging with VP and C-level executives within enterprise clients. • Bring experience leading pre-sales, discovery, and solution design discussions. • Show a track record of shaping and landing deals alongside sales teams. • Communicate excellently in writing, verbally, and in presentations, clearly articulating outcome-based business value. • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Finance to craft tailored proposals and solutions. • Be based in the UK.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to develop and grow client partnerships through AI innovation. • Act as a subject matter expert on AI, software, cloud, and data, identifying client challenges and defining tailored solutions with measurable impact. • Lead discovery and pre-sales engagements, crafting proposals, RFP responses, and pitches. • Develop proof-of-concepts and reference architectures that show how Nearform delivers results. • Translate client objectives into actionable solution roadmaps with experts in software, data, AI, design, and engineering. • Support early-stage project delivery to ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales to execution. • Create case studies and success stories that showcase the impact of Nearform’s AI solutions. • Help shape the AI practice by driving innovation, refining the approach, and sharing best practices across teams.
