Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

• Join Moneybox’s new AI Deployment team as a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, working hybrid with 2 days a week in the London office by the Oxo Tower. • Unlock AI-driven solutions to real business problems as an expert in deploying AI safely. • Work mainly in Python across harnesses, agent workflows, guardrails, evals, RAG and tokenomics. • Embed with departments to turn ad hoc AI use into reliable, AI-enabled business processes. • Deploy ML-built components into customer-facing production systems. • Report to the Head of AI Platforms & Deployment as one of the team’s first hires.

• Bring 5+ years of software engineering with meaningful production ownership. • Show experience building and shipping LLM-powered systems that ran in production. • Write production-grade Python as your primary language. • Work with models via APIs, including harnesses, orchestration, structured output, tool use, agents and RAG. • Design evals and measure accuracy, recall and precision for LLM steps. • Apply guardrails in practice, including PII handling, prompt-injection awareness and human-in-the-loop design. • Optimise cost and performance through model selection, caching, batching and token economics. • Bring CI/CD, containerisation and AI workload monitoring experience. • Show stakeholder-facing delivery experience in consultancy, forward-deployed or solutions engineering roles. • Hold the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship isn’t available.

• Bring experience with Azure or .NET. • Show experience with agent hosting, sandboxing, LLM or MCP gateways, or agentic workflow tooling. • Bring experience in financial services or another regulated environment. • Show experience deploying data science models into customer-facing production systems.

• Own departmental engagements end to end, from scoping vague problems to production handover. • Build AI pipelines with LLM API integration, evals, guardrails and monitoring. • Decide when steps should be deterministic and when an LLM is the right tool. • Rebuild shared, team-built AI tools as owned business systems under a full SDLC. • Deploy ML-built components into production with Decisioning and Data Science teams. • Turn engagement learnings into reusable tooling, templates and self-serve workflows. • Build platform components such as guardrails, sandboxing, workflows and gateways.
