• Lead a growing team of Account Managers while staying hands-on with your own accounts in a genuine 50/50 player-coach role.
• Build the operating model the whole account management function runs on at one of the UK's fastest-growing startups.
• Help scale account management across a network of over 1,000 care providers running on Lottie's software.
📋 Job Requirements
• Have a background growing accounts, whether in account management, customer success, or sales, with the commercial instinct to grow a relationship, not just service it.
• Be interested in managing accounts at real volume, elevating a large book of business rather than a small portfolio of enterprise clients.
• Have improved how a team works, not just worked in one — having defined processes, built systems, or driven change that outlasted you.
• Have a commercial edge with a track record of promoting products into accounts and be comfortable with expansion conversations.
• Be ruthlessly efficient: highly organised, quick through your work, and always looking for ways to save time, improve process, and scale interactions.
• Have coached or mentored others, with evidence of raising others' game.
🌟 Nice-to-have
🎯 Responsibilities
• Lead and coach a team of Account Managers, reporting into the Head of Account Management.
• Own your own accounts and help them grow across Lottie's products in a genuine 50/50 management and delivery split.
• Define what great account management looks like at Lottie, from the standards to the playbooks and processes the whole team runs on.
• Drive structural change including moving partners to a single point of ownership instead of multiple people across one account.
• Build systems that make the way the team works better through AI-driven automation, self-serve, and lighter-touch approaches.
• Increase revenue per partner by proactively identifying opportunities for partners to grow with Lottie and baking this commercial approach into every partner touchpoint.
• Work closely with the product team to identify emerging themes in partner feedback, back them with data, and make the case for what to build next.
• Raise the team's bar every day on quality, pace, and commercial instinct.
Lottie is solving one of the UK's most pressing social challenges: helping families navigate the stressful, confusing process of finding later life care. Founded by two brothers out of their own frustrating experience, Lottie has grown from a half-broken website launched to meet an investor deadline into the UK's highest-rated care-finding service, backed by Accel and General Catalyst, early backers of companies like Airbnb, Meta, and Spotify. The company has raised more than £25 million, reached 10 million users, and now has a team of 70+ people. Glassdoor tells a remarkable story: 4.9/5 from 27 reviews, with 100% of employees recommending it to a friend. Reviewers consistently highlight the team's kindness, mission-driven culture, and clear career progression. Lottie also offers genuinely good benefits for a startup: private healthcare via Bupa, EMI share options, a 3-night digital detox through Unplugged, 26 days holiday (increasing with tenure), and work-from-anywhere for up to 3 weeks per year. The main thing to be aware of is that this is a fast-paced startup environment with ambitious targets, which some reviewers note is not for everyone. But if you want to do meaningful work that directly helps families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives, while working alongside genuinely kind and talented people, Lottie is a brilliant place to do that.
