• Join LPPA, one of the UK’s leading pension administration companies, on a full-time, permanent basis. • Work within the Transfers & Aggregations team on LGPS pensions casework. • Work hybrid with two days a week in Preston, Lancashire. • Apply for a fully home-based contract if you live 50+ miles from the Preston offices. • Work 37 hours a week within a friendly, welcoming, and sociable culture. • Take end-to-end ownership of your cases in a high-volume, SLA-driven environment. • Access many opportunities for continuous personal and professional development.

📋 Job Requirements

• Bring proven experience in LGPS pensions administration, ideally in transfers. • Manage complex casework independently. • Bring strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. • Work to deadlines while maintaining service quality and compliance. • Communicate excellently in writing and verbally, with a strong customer service focus. • Take ownership, solve problems effectively, and escalate appropriately. • Bring competent IT skills, including pensions administration systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Hold 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at Grade C or above. • Be able to work from the Preston office two days a week, unless you live 50+ miles away.

• Bring experience working in a high-volume, SLA-driven Member Services environment. • Be working towards or hold a recognised pensions qualification. • Bring experience specifically in LGPS transfers and aggregations. • Bring experience supporting quality assurance or peer review processes.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Process LGPS casework including retirements, benefit estimates, transfers, commutations, and benefit combinations within service standards. • Take end-to-end ownership of allocated cases, managing workloads, dependencies, and deadlines proactively. • Ensure calculations, decisions, and communications meet LPPA quality and assurance expectations. • Respond clearly and empathetically to member and employer enquiries, tailoring communication to their needs. • Manage expectations, flagging potential delays or risks early. • Apply up-to-date knowledge of LGPS regulations, legislation, and LPPA guidance. • Comply with data protection, information security, and GDPR requirements around member data. • Support quality assurance through peer review, feedback, and corrective action. • Prioritise workloads independently in a high-volume, SLA-driven environment. • Maintain accurate records and system data for audit, reporting, and service oversight. • Share technical knowledge with colleagues and identify trends, risks, or process improvements.
