• Support and oversee key accounting and reporting activities for Awin Ltd in the United Kingdom.
• Work closely with the Head of Accounting, UK & Americas on month-end and year-end close.
• Support IFRS Group reporting, UK statutory reporting, audit coordination, and VAT compliance.
• Partner with Group Finance, Group Tax, FP&A, Payroll, auditors, advisers, and business stakeholders.

📋 Job Requirements
• Bring 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, including month-end close and external audit support.
• Bring proven practical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 102), and research and apply accounting guidance confidently.
• Bring experience supporting the preparation or coordination of UK statutory financial statements and schedules.
• Understand UK VAT and related compliance obligations.
• Be a qualified or part-qualified accountant such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or bring demonstrably equivalent experience.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgement and close attention to detail.
• Communicate confidently with auditors, advisers, Finance colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Bring advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reconciliations, structured financial data, and reporting schedules.
• Bring practical experience using modern ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Identify and support opportunities for finance process automation and standardisation.
• Be able to work from the London office on a hybrid basis.

🎯 Responsibilities
• Support and oversee accounting and reporting for Awin Ltd under IFRS and UK GAAP, coordinating the monthly and annual close.
• Run a high-level month-end review of key accruals, prepayments, and provisions prepared by the Finance Services team.
• Review journals, reclassifications, and accounting judgements as required.
• Review and support accounting for fixed assets, payroll, intercompany balances, cash, and foreign currency revaluation.
• Maintain the close timetable and checklist so responsibilities, deadlines, and dependencies are clear.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure reconciling items are investigated and resolved on time.
• Coordinate intercompany confirmations and resolve differences promptly.
• Support interim and year-end audits, reviewing schedules and evidence before submission.
• Coordinate responses to audit queries and resolve matters within agreed timelines.
• Support the preparation, review, and submission of VAT returns and related compliance activities.
• Coordinate with People & Culture and Payroll on payroll submissions, journals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain process documentation, accounting calendars, and handover materials, and identify automation opportunities.
