Conceptual Designer

• Join KAYAK, the world’s leading travel search engine and part of Booking Holdings, in a full-time hybrid role in London. • Join a newly forming creative hub covering the UK and EMEA. • Act as the visual engine behind the London studio. • Bring bold, beautifully crafted ideas to life across brand campaigns, OOH, social media and short-form content. • Set the creative vision and then get hands-on to make it real. • Partner closely with a Conceptual Copywriter from the earliest stages of ideation. • Work from the London office 3 days a week.

• Bring 5–7+ years of experience as a Designer or Art Director. • Show a portfolio rooted in campaign work rather than purely product or UI design. • Bring deep knowledge of how visual ideas must be tailored for OOH, social media and short-form content. • Apply a strong aesthetic sensibility and a clear visual point of view. • Use Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite proficiently. • Work with an ego-free, collaborative mindset in a cross-cultural team. • Present and defend visual concepts confidently, adapting as briefs evolve. • Stay curious about generative AI for ideation, moodboarding and rapid exploration. • Commute to the London office 3 days a week.

• Bring experience with motion graphics or video editing. • Show experience in cinematography or film production. • Bring a background from a creative agency or in-house studio. • Show experience building a creative team or studio from the ground up.

• Conceive original visual concepts for multi-channel campaigns across OOH, social media and short-form video. • Own the visual direction from concept through production, iteration and adaptation. • Build an integrated creative hub in London alongside a Conceptual Copywriter. • Turn briefs, brand strategy and cultural insight into concepts that cut through a crowded category. • Set a high bar for visual quality and push work beyond the expected. • Present and defend creative concepts to stakeholders. • Work with video editors, campaign managers and performance marketers to keep ideas executable. • Contribute actively to concept sessions and build on others’ thinking. • Use AI tools for rapid concept development, moodboarding and storyboarding. • Bring fresh references from emerging creative technologies and cultural trends.
