Manager, Product - Code

About the role

💼 What you will do

• Lead the four teams behind Figma's Code area: Code Context, Design to Code, Code to Design, and Code Platform. • Come in as a deeply technical product leader who can hold their own in engineering reviews. • Manage and grow a team of Product Managers while partnering with engineering, design, data, and research leaders. • Build the products and platform capabilities that let design and code move fluently together. • Set the strategy for connecting customer codebases to Figma. • Work on Figma Make, which takes teams from prompt to production code, and the Figma agent, a purpose-built design agent that edits files directly on the canvas. • Work full time from the London hub or remotely anywhere in the UK.

📋 Job Requirements

• Bring 3+ years of experience managing Product Managers, with a proven track record of hiring, calibrating, and developing talent. • Show deep experience shipping developer tools and AI products, including running evals, owning annotation pipelines, and making real ship or no-ship calls on model behaviour. • Set strategy and execute on major initiatives in environments with deep technical and product ambiguity. • Rally an organisation around a bold, unproven bet. • Work with enterprise customers to understand their workflows and turn that into shipped product. • Collaborate cross-functionally and write with technical depth, staying credible in engineering reviews and with senior stakeholders. • Keep your camera on during video interviews and attend in-person onboarding if hired.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Apply even if your experience does not line up perfectly, as Figma hires curious people who grow into the role. • Bring hands-on familiarity with MCP and agentic developer workflows, given the adoption goals attached to this area. • Have shipped round-tripping or translation systems between design files and production codebases.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Lead the product side of the four teams driving Figma's Code area. • Set vision, strategy, and goals for how design and code stay in sync at Figma. • Own Design to Code and Code to Design workflows end to end, covering quality measurement, improvement, and discoverability. • Guide development of the code-context systems and translation primitives that power agentic workflows and round-tripping between design and code. • Manage and develop three Product Managers, hire into the team's open Product Manager role, and set a high bar for product management craft. • Partner with leaders across engineering, design, data, and research to make technical product decisions that serve the whole Figma product suite. • Establish a strong operating cadence across the area and own adoption goals for MCP and the Design to Code and Code to Design workflows.

About Figma

😃 What Figma offers

• Choose between the London hub and working remotely from anywhere in the UK. • Lead four teams across a major Figma initiative rather than a single product surface. • Hire into your own team, with an open Product Manager role to fill. • Grow as you go, a company value backed by hiring for curiosity and developing skills on the job. • Work somewhere that treats equal employment opportunity as a commitment, including for applicants with criminal histories where the law allows. • Request reasonable adjustments for the application, interview, and the job itself through [email protected], covering accessible interview locations, closed captioning, screen-reader-compatible communication, and changes to interview format.

💖 What makes Figma unique

Figma builds a platform that makes design accessible to everyone, helping teams brainstorm, prototype, translate designs into code, and iterate with AI. The tools bring ideas through to finished products, letting teams streamline workflows, move faster, and collaborate in real time from anywhere. The company is growing its team of creatives and builders working on the future of design and collaboration.
