Designer Advocate

• Join the Advocacy team, which builds impactful content, high-value interactions, and a strong user voice at Figma. • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams across go-to-market strategy. • Bring deep design expertise, strong product intuition, and a real love for the design community into that work. • Champion users' voices internally to help shape how the product evolves. • Travel up to 25% of the time to meet the community in person. • Work full time on a hybrid basis from the London hub.

• Bring deep, hands-on Figma expertise and an entrepreneurial drive. • Show experience integrating Figma within real product teams, taking ideas from early exploration through to polished outcomes. • Understand modern product design workflows and development environments thoroughly. • Build, manage, and use design systems, tokens, and AI-assisted design or prototyping while working closely with engineers and other cross-functional partners. • Communicate clearly and compellingly, especially when explaining complex workflows or systems. • Speak publicly with confidence and hold the attention of large audiences. • Bring strong technical design skills and an understanding of how design decisions translate into development. • Stay passionate about the design community and comfortable travelling up to 25% of the time. • Keep your camera on during video interviews and attend in-person onboarding if hired.

• Have worked with developer handoff tools or code-connected design workflows. • Apply even if your experience does not line up perfectly, as Figma hires curious people who grow into the role.

• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help customers unlock the full potential of Figma across real product workflows. • Create written, visual, and video content that reflects how modern teams actually design and build, from early exploration to production-ready systems. • Foster meaningful relationships within the Figma community, spot collaboration opportunities, and nurture user-driven initiatives. • Present regularly at industry meetups, conferences, and community events, sharing practical insights from real design work. • Stay attuned to community feedback, sentiment, and emerging design trends, then advocate internally to inform product decisions and improvements.
