Director, Product Management

• Bring cross-functional teams together to build world-class privacy products used by millions of people globally at DuckDuckGo. • Co-create, coach, and collaborate with Engineers, Designers, and partner with functions such as User Insights to define, prioritise, and develop new products and features end-to-end. • Take ownership of components of DuckDuckGo's products and contribute to product strategy across the company. • Help define and hold a high bar for quality in all product development work.

• Bring 10+ years of experience, including 4+ years in leadership roles related to product management (e.g. Head, Principal, Director). • Have experience leading features from inception through launch, including 2+ years of work on at least one product with a large, diverse user base (500k+ weekly active users). • Demonstrate strong people and strategic leadership skills. • Have experience bringing together cross-functional teams to goal-set, roadmap, and resource projects. • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Have experience leveraging experiments and data to inform product decisions. • Have experience collecting and learning from user feedback. • Show excellent product intuition and taste. • Translate complex technical topics such as privacy on the internet into simple product solutions. • Demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills.

• Have experience building privacy-focused or consumer protection products. • Bring a background in browser, search engine, or AI product management. • Have experience working in a remote-first, empowered project management culture.
