Regional Manager, Sales Engineering UK

• Join Datadog’s pre-sales team as Regional Manager, Sales Engineering for the UK, based in London. • Manage a team of talented Sales Engineers who help qualify and close opportunities. • Coach the team on presentations, product demos and technical evaluations. • Take the lead technical role in your region for key account engagements. • Build strong partnerships between Sales Engineering and other teams across Datadog. • Work in a hybrid setup designed to support work-life harmony.

• Bring 1–3+ years in a Sales Engineering team lead or mentorship role. • Show 3+ years in Sales Engineering or an equivalent client-facing role. • Show proven ability to grow and develop a team. • Bring experience recruiting both individual contributors and front-line leaders. • Know current infrastructure and monitoring solutions and technologies. • Build and run customer evaluation plans and mentor others to do the same. • Explain both the business value and technical advantages of the product clearly. • Stay coachable and navigate change confidently.

• Bring hands-on experience with Datadog or other observability platforms. • Show experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP. • Bring experience managing managers as well as individual contributors. • Show experience running technical proof-of-concept evaluations at enterprise scale.

• Articulate Datadog’s value proposition, vision and strategy to customers alongside Sales. • Manage a team of leaders and individual contributors to drive pre-sales success. • Recruit top talent and coach new hires through onboarding. • Enable the team on Datadog solutions and key technical and soft skills. • Build close working relationships with Product Management, Support and Enablement. • Deliver semi-annual performance reviews and individual development plans.
