💼 What you will do

• Join Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu, in a home-based role across the EMEA region. • Join the Business Services team, ensuring smooth travel for colleagues and guests from around the world. • Support company meetings and industry events attended by people from 75+ countries. • Help set travel policy, support travel decisions, and respond to travel emergencies. • Take responsibility for supplier relationships and hold vendors to a high standard. • Take on projects, processes, and policy at a company that values organisers over extensive prior experience. • Travel up to four times a year for company events lasting up to two weeks.

📋 Job Requirements

• Bring excellent academic results at school and university. • Hold a degree in a business or technical subject. • Communicate excellently. • Work responsibly and accountably. • Bring self-awareness and thoughtfulness. • Plan ahead reliably and determinedly, taking ownership of projects and processes. • Bring excellent attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset. • Learn new technology and software quickly. • Be able to travel up to four times a year for events lasting up to two weeks.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Engage with colleagues to address travel queries and issues. • Work with the wider business services team on company and industry event plans. • Hold travel vendors accountable for providing excellent service. • Check invoices for accurate charges and ensure timely payments, credits, and refunds. • Monitor trends, spend, emissions, and compliance with company travel policy. • Track unused tickets, credits, and airline points usage.
