Senior Solutions Engineer, Enterprise UKI Public Sector

• Join Atlassian as a Senior Solutions Engineer for the UK and Ireland public sector, working remotely from the UK. • Lead the technical side of complex enterprise sales cycles. • Act as a trusted technical advisor, showing customers how Atlassian can change the way they work. • Solve customers’ hardest business problems with Atlassian solutions. • Work alongside a globally distributed team, speaking with Global 2000 companies every day. • Interview and onboard virtually with a distributed-first company.

• Bring 5+ years of experience working with enterprise customers in a pre-sales role. • Show experience working with the UK public sector. • Understand government procurement frameworks and security and compliance requirements. • Navigate the commercial and stakeholder landscape of central and local government. • Present confidently to multi-level audiences, from executives to technical teams. • Take a consultative approach and turn complex business problems into clear solutions. • Stay open to giving and receiving feedback and keen to keep learning. • Be based in the UK, as no relocation support is offered.

• Bring hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence or other Atlassian products. • Hold UK security clearance. • Show experience with G-Cloud or other UK government procurement frameworks. • Bring experience working with channel partners in public sector deals.

• Run customer discovery with account teams and partners to map business problems to Atlassian solutions. • Identify opportunities for cross-product and solution expansion. • Continuously investigate and assess customer pain points. • Lead tailored, value-based product demonstrations. • Guide customers’ technical needs through the sales process to win buy-in. • Build strong partnerships with sales counterparts and improve the selling cycle together. • Share customer feedback and competitive intelligence with product management and leadership. • Keep your product, platform and pre-sales knowledge current.
