EMEA Marketing Lead, DX

Posted on 23 September 2026

About the role

💼 What you will do

• Join DX, the developer productivity platform recently acquired by Atlassian, as its EMEA Marketing Lead. • Own and expand DX’s presence across the EMEA region in a founding-marketer role. • Act as the link between the EMEA market and the wider DX marketing team. • Partner closely with account executives to reach target accounts with the right mix of plays. • Run executive roundtables, CxO dinners, webinars and regional events. • Shape a role that has room to define itself as the region grows.

📋 Job Requirements

• Bring experience running field or regional marketing at a B2B SaaS or developer tools company. • Prioritise ruthlessly when working with limited support. • Build real account plans from a named account list, thinking in accounts and people rather than audiences. • Show experience running executive programmes and events, from positioning and agenda design to follow-through. • Write webinar briefs, review campaign sequences and work a booth with equal comfort. • Have strong instincts for what messaging works in different markets and push back when it won’t land. • Collaborate productively with demand gen, events, product marketing and sales. • Feel motivated by building something that isn’t fully built yet.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Bring experience marketing to engineering leaders or developer audiences. • Know the EMEA enterprise market and its cultural and language differences. • Bring experience with account-based marketing and direct mail campaigns. • Have familiarity with Atlassian events such as TEAM and Team on Tour. • Show experience marketing AI transformation or developer productivity products.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Maintain a working view of EMEA target accounts, their contacts, campaign reach and pipeline stage. • Build account engagement plans with AEs, matching programmes to each buying stage. • Execute plays such as roundtables, CxO dinners, partner motions, direct mail and 1:1 ABM touches. • Bring customer, AE and partner insights back so global programmes reflect the region. • Adapt ads, emails and campaign assets for regional language, culture and proof points. • Flag gaps in case studies, product marketing and website content to the right teams. • Secure the right EMEA event presence, from running booths to hosting side events. • Recruit executives at target accounts as event attendees or speakers. • Design regional programming around global moments such as TEAM and Team on Tour. • Host regional webinars featuring the Field CTOs, researchers and other experts. • Test new channels, communities, partners and plays, and build the case for scaling what works.
