Director of Technical Programme Management

• Join Zilch as Director of Technical Programme Management, working hybrid from London with Tuesdays and Fridays remote. • Help deliver Zilch’s most important technology priorities. • Build and lead the company’s TPM capability and team. • Combine strategic execution, organisation building and cultural leadership. • Turn ambitious, ambiguous priorities into real outcomes with Engineering, Product and Architecture leaders. • Focus on alignment, clear decisions and business outcomes rather than traditional PMO process.

• Bring significant experience leading complex technical programmes and TPM teams in a high-growth tech environment. • Influence senior business and technology leaders from a position of trust. • Show a track record of turning ambiguous strategy into delivery across multiple teams. • Bring the technical credibility to engage as a peer with senior engineers and architects. • Facilitate tough trade-offs to clear decisions with sound judgement. • Show a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. • Communicate excellently in writing and speech, including at executive level. • Take a data-driven approach to improving delivery and organisational performance.

• Bring experience in fintech, payments or regulated financial services. • Show experience applying AI and automation to how technology organisations operate. • Bring experience shaping engineering culture at a scaling company. • Show experience leading programmes across architecture and platform teams.

• Lead Zilch’s most complex, business-critical technical programmes end to end. • Translate company priorities into outcomes, roadmaps, milestones and success measures. • Bring structure to problems where the approach isn’t yet obvious. • Give leaders a reliable view of what will land, what’s at risk and what decisions are needed. • Build and develop a high-performing TPM team. • Champion ownership, pace and a bias for action across teams. • Push decisions to the lowest sensible level while escalating quickly when needed. • Align Product and Engineering around shared outcomes for Zilch.
