Director of Product

• Join Zilch, one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintechs, in a senior hybrid role in London. • Lead the next phase of innovation and growth across Zilch’s financial and payment products. • Drive new financial products, AI-powered purchase experiences and data-driven commerce capabilities. • Lead five product squads and manage a team of five Product Managers. • Own the P&L for your portfolio and make sure every initiative delivers measurable outcomes. • Combine strategic ownership with hands-on involvement in discovery, delivery and optimisation.

• Bring 7+ years of experience in Product Management, including 3+ years in a senior product leadership role. • Show proven experience in fintech and payments, ideally with exposure to credit or lending products. • Demonstrate the ability to drive a P&L with strong commercial acumen. • Build products that solve meaningful customer problems and deliver measurable business value. • Move comfortably between long-term strategy and hands-on product execution. • Align cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders around a shared vision. • Use analytics, experimentation and market insight to make product decisions. • Operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and prioritise ruthlessly. • Take ownership and lead with integrity, transparency and accountability. • Set high standards, give clear feedback and hold teams accountable for outcomes. • Work from the London office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

• Bring experience working with international or distributed teams. • Show experience leading both greenfield product development and scaling existing products. • Bring experience from a high-growth scale-up where priorities change quickly.

• Lead and empower five cross-functional squads across purchase, payments and repayment journeys. • Drive the P&L and commercial performance of Zilch’s financial and payment products. • Define product strategy and roadmaps across multiple squads in line with commercial and growth goals. • Set product goals, track KPIs and use data, experimentation and customer insight to optimise performance. • Drive discovery and shape solutions hands-on alongside Engineering and Design. • Manage, coach and develop a team of five Product Managers. • Partner with senior leadership to align product strategy with company objectives and investment priorities. • Improve ways of working across Product, Engineering, Design and Data. • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Finance and Marketing on customer-centric outcomes. • Make informed trade-offs and manage delivery risk with Engineering leadership. • Drive the Intelligent Commerce strategy, including agentic purchasing, Zilch Pay integrations and sales attribution.
