Director of Operational Planning & Value Realisation

• Join Zilch, one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintechs, in an executive hybrid role in London. • Take commercial stewardship of Service Operations and improve its economic contribution to the business. • Make sure operational investment, AI adoption and transformation deliver measurable gains in customer outcomes and financial performance. • Lead the Workforce Management, Business Analysis and Supplier Management teams. • Own operational planning, workforce and supplier strategy, commercial modelling and benefits realisation. • Keep Service Operations commercially efficient as customer volumes, AI capability and product complexity grow.

• Bring experience leading commercial, planning or strategy functions within an operational environment. • Show a background in roles such as Director of Business Planning, Head of Operational Finance, business unit COO or operations strategy consulting. • Bring experience in commercial leadership, financial modelling and operational planning. • Show experience in workforce strategy and supplier management. • Develop business cases, appraise investments and track benefits realisation. • Manage executive stakeholders and operate confidently at executive level. • Apply strong financial acumen and a highly analytical, numerate approach. • Balance customer outcomes with commercial priorities. • Make complex investment recommendations and influence without relying on hierarchy. • Connect operational decisions to wider business performance as a systems thinker. • Work from the London office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

• Bring experience supporting AI-enabled operational transformation. • Show experience leading large-scale operational change. • Bring experience planning operations for international expansion. • Show experience managing outsourced delivery partners at scale.

• Own the commercial performance of Service Operations and build frameworks that support operational decisions. • Partner with Finance to improve visibility of operational economics. • Lead long-term operational planning across workforce capacity, AI adoption, outsourcing, international expansion and resilience. • Lead the Business Analysis function and develop robust business cases for operational investment. • Set consistent approaches to opportunity sizing, commercial modelling, investment appraisal and benefits realisation. • Track realised benefits and challenge initiatives that fail to deliver expected value. • Lead Workforce Management and turn forecasting into strategic capacity planning. • Lead Supplier Management, long-term sourcing strategy and executive supplier governance. • Build executive dashboards covering cost-to-serve, productivity, investment and supplier performance. • Coach leaders on the economic impact of operational decisions and embed evidence-based decision making.
