• Have strong proficiency in backend programming languages like Java, Python, or Go. • Have a passion for building at scale — have worked on high-throughput systems and know what it takes to keep services fast and reliable. • Have a deep interest in system design — think in terms of platforms, not just features. • Have a desire to build meaningful infrastructure — care about enabling others, not just shipping your own code. • Communicate excellently in both verbal and written form, conveying technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Have experience working in fintech or high-trust domains like risk, identity, or compliance. • Bring experience with messaging systems such as Kafka. • Have experience building centralised platforms that unify data and decision-making across multiple domains. • Bring experience enabling product teams to launch faster with built-in risk or compliance tooling. • Have experience building platform infrastructure from the ground up.
