Software Engineer - AI Product

• Join Figma's Code Area, the team redefining how Designers, PMs, and Engineers collaborate. • Work on agentic workflows that enable ideation and prototyping on production codebases while speeding up the journey from design to code. • Build on Dev Mode, launched in 2023 to give developers everything they need to navigate design files and turn designs into code, and on Figma's MCP, introduced in 2025. • Help reduce the barriers between design and code in both directions, so ideation, prototyping, and productionisation happen wherever makes most sense. • Lead AI efforts end-to-end, from early ideas through to production. • Join a Code organisation that is expanding and hiring AI Product Engineers across multiple levels in the UK.

• Bring 3+ years of experience shipping user-facing features or products as a full-stack developer. • Demonstrate strong fluency with React and TypeScript. • Communicate and work across functions to drive solutions proactively. • Pay close attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship. • Move at high velocity with a focus on user impact. • Keep your camera on during video interviews and attend in-person onboarding if hired.

• Build and evolve Dev Mode, Figma's MCP tools, and Make, the company's leading tools for dev and design collaboration. • Take part in building new 0→1 products in the agentic coding space. • Collaborate with designers, PMs, and other engineers to craft high quality products. • Mentor exceptional peers across engineering, product, and design, and be mentored by them. • Build strong personal connections with teammates and help shape Figma's culture.
