Senior Data Scientist - Marketing

Join Wise's Marketing Team as Senior Data Scientist helping make people aware of Wise as solution for cross-border money needs. Build predictive models calculating Customer Lifetime Value aiding marketing prioritization and resource allocation. Model customer behaviour and product usage understanding which audiences to target and how. Use causal models measuring incremental effect of CRM and Invite campaigns on business metrics. Apply causal inference deciding which campaigns to deliver to each user. Build Marketing Mix Models understanding what growth activity to invest in. Work closely with Data Analysts helping them understand and use models you build.

• Show familiarity with lifetime value modelling and econometrics/marketing mix modelling. • Demonstrate experience with Bayesian approaches to machine learning and using neural networks ideally PyTorch. • Have good understanding of statistics particularly Bayesian reasoning estimating result accuracy and knowing when to stop analysing and deliver results. • Show good understanding of causal inference concepts with experience using machine learning models for causal inference. • Be familiar with range of model types knowing when and why to use gradient boosting, neural networks, linear regression, or blend of these. • Possess solid knowledge of Python making and justifying design decisions in your code building REST services or UIs when needed and using external data pulled via APIs. • Understand fundamental technologies including Kafka and Docker bringing up new engines in docker-compose. • Take ownership of projects seeing them through end to end with past experience doing so. • Apply data-driven structural and pedantic approach prioritising value and managing time effectively. • See bigger picture of business processes cutting through vagueness to define where and how models fit into stack and what value they add. • Visualize and communicate data to various audiences easily articulating and presenting ideas.

• Have experience working autonomously creating vision with team rather than following direction. • Show ability to gather feedback from diverse stakeholders across organization while maintaining freedom to make own calls. • Demonstrate experience working in diverse teams with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Marketeers. • Have passion for mission-driven work helping millions of people and businesses.
