Senior Platform Engineer

• Own and evolve the cloud infrastructure and developer tooling that underpins the entire Portal engineering team. • Work across cloud infrastructure, RBAC/IAM, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and developer productivity in a broad, hands-on platform engineering role. • Join a team that operates as a startup within a scale-up, with its own infrastructure, DevOps, and a high-autonomy operating model.

• Have strong hands-on cloud infrastructure experience, ideally Azure, with production Terraform/IaC experience. • Have strong RBAC/IAM knowledge at cloud/infrastructure level, with experience in application/product-level IAM or multi-tenancy highly valuable. • Have experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. • Have security and networking fundamentals as a hands-on builder, not just a reviewer. • Have experience as part of a support or on-call rotation. • Be a strong communicator who can coach and guide application developers, not just build in isolation. • Have a product mindset, thinking about the developer experience and building tools that genuinely improve how the team works. • Demonstrate high autonomy and ownership, taking responsibility for outcomes in a fast-moving team.

• Have experience working with multiple cloud providers or cross-cloud IAM across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP. • Have a background in developer experience or internal tooling. • Have experience in a startup or high-growth engineering environment. • Hold security certifications.

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and developer tooling primarily on Azure using Terraform across development, staging, and production environments. • Own and evolve RBAC/IAM across both cloud/infrastructure and application/product layers for a multi-tenant Portal environment. • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to increase developer velocity, reliability, and deployment safety. • Support and improve Kubernetes-based deployment workflows and platform services. • Build internal tools and observability capabilities that help engineers deliver performant, reliable software at scale. • Participate in a support/on-call rotation, respond to incidents, support engineers, and contribute to root cause analysis. • Apply practical security and networking knowledge to harden the platform and coach application developers on best practices.
