• Join the Observability team building the products that Vercel users rely on to monitor and understand their applications' health and behaviour.
• Design, implement, and maintain Observability products that meet high-quality standards and integrate seamlessly with the Vercel Platform.
• Work with large-scale data ingestion, storage, and processing from distributed systems.
• Based in London. If within commuting distance of the London office, the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Otherwise the role is fully remote.
📋 Job Requirements
• Have at least 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Have strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Go and experience with modern frontend development tools.
• Have a solid understanding of how to efficiently work with columnar databases such as ClickHouse or Tinybird.
• Have previous experience processing large quantities of data, using messaging systems or streaming services at scale.
• Have experience contributing to or participating in open source projects.
• Have familiarity with frontend frameworks, performance profiling, and optimisation for web applications.
• Have a proactive and self-driven approach to problem-solving, with a passion for pushing the boundaries of frontend tooling.
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
