Head of Solutions Architecture, EMEA

• Join Vercel’s Field Engineering organisation as Head of Solutions Architecture for EMEA. • Build and lead the technical sales team behind customer relationships across Europe. • Lead Solutions Architects and the managers who lead them. • Set the bar for technical excellence across the deal cycle. • Step in on architecture reviews, migration plans and high-stakes executive presentations. • Work from the London or Berlin office 3 days a week, reporting to the Global VP of Field Engineering.

• Bring 10+ years in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering or technical pre-sales, including 5+ years in leadership. • Show a strong background in JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, APIs and cloud infrastructure. • Show proven ability to lead, coach and scale technical teams in a high-growth environment. • Bring success working with enterprise and commercial customers across industries. • Understand CI/CD, DevOps and modern frontend development workflows. • Collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering to drive customer success. • Work from the London or Berlin office 3 days a week.

• Bring hands-on experience with Vercel, Next.js or similar frontend frameworks. • Show experience leading SA teams at a high-growth SaaS or cloud infrastructure company. • Bring expertise in developer tooling, edge computing or performance optimisation. • Present confidently at conferences, webinars or large customer events.

• Lead, develop and manage the EMEA Solutions Architecture team. • Ensure technical excellence across the pre-sales cycle. • Support key accounts hands-on with presentations, architecture reviews and migration plans. • Coach SA engagements on strategic accounts across segments. • Share field feedback with engineering so it shapes the platform. • Turn trends from the field into repeatable plays. • Report SA performance to Sales and Field Engineering leadership each quarter. • Own org planning, staffing, budgeting and regional recruiting.
