Product Manager - Infrastructure

• Own the platform primitives every Supabase product runs on, including internal features like compute, disks, networking, and the API gateway. • Lead external-facing infrastructure features such as read replicas, custom domains, PrivateLink, and Bring Your Own Cloud. • Talk to customers across the full spectrum from indie developers to enterprises and bring real blockers back to the roadmap.

• Bring 7+ years of product management experience on developer tools, or equivalent experience as an ex-founder with strong product instincts. • Have shipped cloud infrastructure as a product, owning at least one of compute, networking, storage, or multi-region/multi-tenant systems at a cloud, infra, or PaaS company. • Understand infrastructure tradeoffs including instance sizing, disk and storage economics, scale-to-zero vs. always-on, and single-tenant vs. shared architectures. • Be technical enough to read an architecture doc, follow a design discussion, and ask the right questions. • Be biased toward speed, preferring to ship something imperfect and learn rather than spend another sprint refining a spec. • Build with what you own by running real workloads on the products you manage. • Use AI tools to cut the slow parts so more time goes to judgment calls. • Work async by default, making decisions in writing and moving threads forward without meetings.

• Have familiarity with how enterprises buy infrastructure, including PrivateLink, BYOC, and procurement processes. • Bring experience bridging the gap between single-region deployments and multi-region systems at scale. • Have experience working with partners building on top of a platform. • Show experience with open-source developer tools or platforms.

• Talk to customers across the full spectrum from indie developers and fast-growing startups to enterprises and partners building on top of Supabase, finding real blockers and bringing them back to the roadmap. • Own the problem statement and requirements behind every platform bet, capturing customer evidence, naming cost, capacity, and reliability constraints, and giving the team a clear target. • Decide what gets built, what gets deferred, and what gets cut each quarter, balancing enterprise unlocks, reliability and cost wins, and net-new capabilities. • Define how each launch is measured before it ships, setting the metric, agreeing on the threshold, and tracking results after launch. • Keep engineering, design, and leadership aligned across every Supabase product, region, and customer tier. • Write the roadmap, surface dependencies before they become blockers, and keep decisions moving.
