Technology Operations Manager

• Join Starling Bank as Technology Operations Manager, leading the first line of IT support. • Lead a high-performing team supporting internal colleagues and external technology partners. • Oversee a primarily Mac estate, with some Windows PCs, plus critical infrastructure. • Manage team operations across two offices. • Combine hands-on support leadership with a drive for operational excellence. • Work 37.5 hours a week on a rota between 7am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday.

• Show proven experience managing technical support or operations teams in a fast-paced environment. • Bring strong working knowledge of macOS and Windows support. • Use management tools such as Zentral, Intune and Meraki. • Manage multi-site operations while driving a high-performance culture. • Bring experience with incident management, ITSM tools and continuous improvement. • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and external partners. • Build dashboards and track KPIs with a metrics-driven mindset. • Work 37.5 hours a week between 7am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday.

• Hold an ITIL certification. • Bring Apple device management certifications. • Show experience with office network and infrastructure projects. • Bring experience supporting IT in a regulated financial services firm.

• Lead and manage the Technology Operations team across multiple offices. • Coach and upskill colleagues in line with Starling’s values and performance framework. • Oversee the Mac and Windows environments and managed network. • Build effective support processes with internal stakeholders. • Triage and escalate issues to third-party suppliers. • Develop dashboards to improve processes and track team performance. • Manage incident response and escalation for technical issues. • Support IT projects for office infrastructure and hardware lifecycle management.
