• Join Spotify’s IT Studio as Senior Engineering Manager, based in London or Stockholm. • Lead a group of Engineering Managers and around 50 engineers and technicians across 9 teams. • Own the technology around 8,000 Spotifiers rely on every day, from identity and devices to AI tools. • Set engineering strategy and strengthen technical practices across the studio. • Shape how AI is used across the company. • Enjoy flexible hybrid working, with some in-person meetings.

📋 Job Requirements

• Bring 8+ years of engineering experience, including leading Engineering Managers across multiple teams. • Show how the technical strategies you’ve shaped have driven meaningful outcomes at scale. • Bring experience with enterprise technology such as identity and access, SaaS platforms, endpoint management or workplace technology. • Show a track record of improving engineering practices across multiple teams. • Show meaningful growth in the Engineering Managers you’ve developed. • Bring practical experience applying AI tooling in engineering organisations. • Focus performance conversations on impact rather than activity. • Communicate complex technical and strategic ideas clearly and lead inclusively.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Bring experience leading IT or corporate technology organisations at a global company. • Know IT service management and audio-visual or meeting room technology. • Show experience rolling out AI productivity tools across a large workforce. • Bring experience working with procurement and legal on technology investments.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Engineering Managers while creating clarity on outcomes and engineering excellence. • Set and communicate engineering strategy across the IT Studio. • Challenge processes that no longer add value and make space for architecture, quality and capability. • Drive improvements in engineering practice, operational health and reliability across teams. • Establish best practices and help teams share knowledge. • Champion reliability, security, compliance and privacy in engineering decisions. • Shape how AI is built and used across Spotify. • Partner with studio leadership, procurement, legal and engineering teams on technical investments.
