Solar Sales Advisor

• Join So Energy’s Energy Independence team as a Solar Sales Advisor, working hybrid from Chiswick 2 days a week. • Help homeowners save money and become energy independent with solar panels, batteries and EV chargers. • Work from a steady stream of high-quality inbound leads, with no cold calling. • Design custom solar arrays and present tailored quotes over audio and video calls. • Earn uncapped commission on top of your base salary. • Report to the Solar & Storage Sales Manager and help the UK reach Net Zero.

• Bring previous sales experience with a track record of meeting performance targets. • Communicate clearly in speech and writing across multiple channels. • Prioritise your workload and adapt quickly to changing customer and business needs. • Handle customers who need a more bespoke service and overcome challenges. • Deliver excellent customer service and take ownership of complaints. • Show a genuine passion for helping people move away from fossil fuels. • Hold the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship isn’t available.

• Bring experience in the UK residential solar and energy storage market. • Show experience upselling battery storage or EV charge points. • Bring experience designing solar arrays or producing technical quotes. • Show experience using a CRM to manage the customer journey.

• Guide customers from first contact through to agreeing a solar installation. • Run pre-booked audio and video calls to understand customers’ energy needs. • Design solar arrays and present accurate quotes. • Negotiate confidently to maintain high conversion rates. • Upsell extras such as battery storage and EV charge points. • Manage the customer journey in the CRM as the main point of contact. • Overcome objections and solve problems to secure sales.
