Senior Data Analyst

• Join So Energy, the customer-centric, tech-led UK energy supplier, in a hybrid role at its Chiswick, London HQ. • Help the UK on its journey to a net-zero future through data-driven decisions. • Use advanced SQL to turn complex datasets into actionable insights for the business. • Line manage two mid and junior analysts alongside the Data Team Lead. • Lead data projects from defining objectives through to presenting recommendations. • Work in an agile team with sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics or Engineering, or bring equivalent experience. • Bring 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar, with a strong focus on advanced SQL. • Show experience delivering complex data projects, backed by a portfolio of your work. • Use data visualisation tools such as Looker or Power BI confidently. • Work with large, messy datasets to extract valuable insights. • Explain complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. • Drive projects from inception to completion with strong project management skills. • Apply strong analytical and critical thinking with keen attention to detail. • Collaborate proactively in a team-oriented environment. • Commute to the Chiswick office on a hybrid basis.

• Hold a master’s degree in a quantitative field. • Bring experience within the energy supply industry. • Show experience designing data warehouses using industry methodologies. • Bring previous experience line managing analysts.

• Line manage two mid and junior analysts in collaboration with the Data Team Lead. • Extract, clean and analyse complex datasets using advanced SQL. • Lead data-driven projects from objectives and methodology through to findings and recommendations. • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and build analytical solutions. • Design and document curated data warehouse tables for the Data Engineering team to implement. • Define metrics for business monitoring at different levels. • Create clear data visualisations and reports for stakeholders at all levels. • Support ad-hoc analysis covering auditing, marketing campaigns and customer segmentation. • Help set new standards for dashboards, reports and insights. • Share status, blockers and progress clearly within the agile team.
