Senior Software Engineer, Content Agent

• Join Sanity as a Senior Software Engineer on Content Agent, its operations layer for structured content. • Build the system that turns content work such as bulk edits, audits and translation into tasks an agent can run. • Work across Dashboard, Studio, Slack and a headless API. • Do full-stack product work in TypeScript and React, from MCP tools to agent orchestration and evals. • Own your domain and help shape what Content Agent becomes with product and design. • Work from the London office 2–3 days a week.

• Write strong TypeScript and React and work comfortably across frontend, APIs and backend. • Show experience shipping LLM-based systems in production for real users. • Think in systems, covering user intent, edge cases, failure modes and escalation. • Write well and understand how phrasing shapes an agent’s behaviour. • Work comfortably with probabilistic systems, experiments and statistically-read evals. • Bring real experience with, or curiosity about, MCP, tool use and agent architectures. • Care about craft in code, writing and product. • Work from the London office 2–3 days a week.

• Bring experience with GROQ or Sanity. • Come from a non-traditional background such as writing, interaction design or liberal arts. • Show experience building integrations for tools such as Slack. • Bring experience with structured content, schemas and validation rules.

• Build React interfaces, APIs and backend services across the stack. • Build MCP tools and integrations that extend what the agent can do. • Design agent loops that decide what the agent does and when to bring in a human. • Write and refine system prompts as real engineering artefacts. • Run evals and experiments to measure and improve reliability in real usage. • Use GROQ to give the agent a deep understanding of structured content. • Shape the future of Content Agent with product and design.
